Official contest rules
1. Sponsor
The Sip. Scan. Win! (the “Contest”) is sponsored by ONpoint Strategy Group Inc., 260 Spinnaker Way, Units 9 & 10, Concord, ON L4K 4P9, sipscanwin@onpointstrategygroup.com (“ONpoint” or the “Sponsor”).
2. Eligibility
The Contest is open to legal residents of Ontario, Canada who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, contractors, agents, representatives, affiliates, promotional agencies, suppliers of the Sponsor, and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible to enter or win. The Contest is void where prohibited by law. The Contest is not open to residents outside the province of Ontario. Ontario public office holders as defined in the Lobbyists Registration Act are not eligible to win the gift card.
3. Contest Period
The Contest begins on August 16, 2026 at 12:00 am ET and ends on August 19, 2026 at 12:00 pm ET (the “Contest Period”). Entries received after the Contest Period will not be accepted.
4. How to Enter – No Purchase Necessary
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. During the Contest Period, eligible entrants may enter by scanning the official ONpoint QR code provided by ONpoint and completing the online entry form. Required information includes First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Telephone Number, Organization, Job Title. All required fields must be completed in full.
Limit of one (1) entry per person during the Contest Period. Multiple entries, duplicate entries, entries submitted using multiple identities, multiple email addresses, automated systems, bots, scripts, disposable email services, or other fraudulent means are prohibited and may result in disqualification in the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Incomplete, illegible, corrupted, late, or misdirected entries are void.
5. Prize(s)
There are 2 prize(s) available to be won, consisting of $100 Ultimate Dining eCards, with a retail value (“ARV”) of $100 CAD per prize.
The prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable, assignable, or redeemable for cash, except that the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute the prize, or any component of the prize, with a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for any reason. Any costs, taxes, fees, expenses, or other amounts associated with accepting, claiming, or using the prize that are not expressly stated in these Official Contest Rules are the sole responsibility of the winner.
6. Odds of Winning
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
7. Winner Selection
A random draw will be conducted on or about August 20, 2026, at approximately 12:00 pm ET in Concord, Ontario from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. One potential winner will be selected for each available prize.
8. Skill-Testing Question
Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by ONpoint, in a manner determined by ONpoint, including by telephone, online, or in writing.
9. Notification and Claiming the Prize
The selected entrant will be contacted by telephone and/or email using the contact information provided at entry within five (5) business days of the draw. To be declared a winner, the selected entrant must, within five (5) business days of the first contact attempt:
(a) respond to the Sponsor’s notification;
(b) correctly answer the skill-testing question;
(c) provide satisfactory proof of identity, age, residency, and eligibility if requested.
If a selected entrant cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the required timeframe, answers the skill-testing question incorrectly, fails to provide requested proof, or is found ineligible, the selected entrant may be disqualified and the prize forfeited, and an alternate entrant may be selected at the Sponsor’s discretion, time permitting.
10. Verification
The Sponsor reserves the right to verify the identity, age, residency, eligibility, and compliance of any entrant with these Official Contest Rules before awarding a prize. Failure to provide satisfactory proof when requested may result in disqualification.
11. General Conditions
By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Contest Rules and by the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest. The Sponsor reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate the Contest, or amend these Official Contest Rules, if fraud, technical failures, internet interruption, labour disruption, natural disaster, public health event, government action, or any other event beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control affects the integrity or proper administration of the Contest.
The Sponsor also reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process, violates these Official Contest Rules, or acts in a disruptive, fraudulent, misleading, abusive, or unsportsmanlike manner.
12. Release and Limitation of Liability
By participating in the Contest, each entrant releases and holds harmless the Sponsor and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, representatives, and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, actions, or causes of action arising out of or in connection with participation in the Contest or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize.
Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, corrupted, delayed, or misdirected entries; failed, interrupted, or unavailable websites, servers, internet service providers, or other connections; technical malfunctions; software or hardware failures; email delivery failures; unauthorized human intervention; printing or typographical errors; fraud; or any injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Contest or any prize.
13. Privacy
The Sponsor collects personal information provided in connection with the Contest, including name, email address, telephone number, title, and organization, for the purposes of administering the Contest, contacting entrants, verifying eligibility, and awarding the prize. Personal information will not be sold and will only be disclosed where reasonably necessary to administer the Contest or as otherwise required by law.
Where an entrant provides express consent, the Sponsor may also use the entrant’s information to send the weekly To the Point insights newsletter and related ONpoint communications.
14. Electronic Communications Consent
Entering the Contest does not require consent to receive commercial electronic messages from ONpoint and does not, by itself, enroll you to receive To the Point or Points of Interest. Any entrant who wishes to receive the weekly To the Point insights and Points of Interest must separately provide express consent through the consent mechanism on the entry form. Such consent is voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time using the unsubscribe link included in ONpoint emails or by contacting ONpoint at tothepoint@onpointstrategygroup.com.
15. Governing Law
The Contest is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes relating to the Contest shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario, unless otherwise required by law.
